    After purchases my second 40rd magazine from Max-Arms, I was disappointed with the quality of the magazine, it had rust on it and was pitting (the grade I paid for was Grade A). Contacted Max-Arms about it and they sent another magazine, which was also rusted, but then when I reached out again was told that the magazines are surplus and that they will come with rust. Why is it that there's a grading system that is charged more for a higher grade when Grade C is where rust to be almost a guarantee while paying an extra $12 for a Grade A is also supposed to have rust on them?

    Very well packaged, purchased 2 of the 40rd NOS one's and they are pristine and run flawless! Will be buying more.

    Fits great in my M70, a little loose but that's not an issue!

    AK life be like that sometimes. The generous tolerances on the receiver, coupled with the slightly varied feed lip width on the welded military surplus magazines, mean that every magazine fits each receiver differently. It's impossible to know how the mag will fit without trying it. There's plenty of play and give on a good stamp metal receiver AK. I think this is partly what makes decent AK function when other rifles might not.

    Mags arrived in awesome shape! Super happy with mine. "VERY" minor wear and tear, no dents. Couldn't ask for more from surplus mags!

    Had a few small bits of rust on mine and the inside was covered in dirt but otherwise they mere in great condition

    Mags were in great condition and shipped promptly. Price wise they are about the cheapest out there right now.

    For $40 dollars I'm pretty happy. I whould say these are in good condition lots of finish wear and one of mine had small amount of rust, but they cleaned up nice, I know apex had ones in similar condition for $60 so get them while you can.

    I bought some of these because the 40rnd battle pack was out of stock, definitely happy with the purchase though. The mags were if fact in excellent condition, the ones that I received did not look like they were even inserted. I'll be buying more from Maxxarms in there future!
