Description
The Schmidt-Rubin model 1889 is a musket length, straight-pull bolt action infantryman rifle and the patriarch of the Schmidt-Rubin series of rifles. Chambered in the first version of the 7.5×55 Swiss cartridge (known as GP90), The 1889 Features include steel charging handle with composite knobs, and a 12 round fixed magazine. While there are some visible wear marks from storage and use, the condition of this rifle is very good for its age (which is well over 100 years!)
Sturdy, reliable and accurate at a very impressive range, this 1889 rifle is quite literally a blast from the past that will compliment any collectors trove.
