Wear on the parts is definitely not "like new to excellent" I would rate them at "good", fair amount of wear all over. I was planning to try a reweld but won't be able to, it appears at least the largest magwell section of the receiver isn't original to the other pieces, there is overlap of material between pieces.

Overall, this is a great kit. Whether you're looking for a spare parts kit for your Vz61, or looking to build one from a kit, this is a great option. No regrets! However, I do wish there was an option to buy the kit or the cut receiver separately.

My order, placed after hours, was shipped the next day and within my hands in under a week. The parts are in nearly as good condition as shown in the listing's image. The stock and receiver pieces are noticeably a bit more beat up, but I'm not disappointed.

Overall the kit is in pretty good shape. The mag had a bunch of surface rust, but the rest of it seems to be there.

Great kit in darn near new condition...Shipping was lightening fast ordered on a Tuesday on my step by Saturday...Very pleased with entire transition and product will definitely order from again in the future! Now just need to find a barrel cause they seem to be hard part to source....

Great price for the vz61 scorpion kit with 2 mags .I got this on sale last week for 214.95 free shipping . Receiver is a little hacked with the torch no surprise . But all the peices are there .Wood pistol grips have verrverry minor scratches . Blueing is verry over all verry nice .. My kit is dated 1973 .

Kit appears in great condition, receiver is a bit rougher than shown in pic, but overall great value at about the same price as other distributors with the 2 mags, as well as prompt shipping

I've ordered two kits and the receiver for one kit was pretty nice but the receiver on the other is in really rough shape. I had to take a star away because of that. The rest of the kits are in good shape. Just wish the one receiver wasn't so thrashed.

Had been looking for a good kit for a while, and this seems to be the best bang for your buck at the moment. Mags aren’t cheap and have been a little hard to come by so that was a huge selling point. Receiver parts are torch cut, but after some clean up shouldn’t be too bad. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

Attached is a picture of the two cut recievers I received. The cuts are less optimal then the pictured kit. Otherwise this is the least expensive vz61 kit currently available.
