Manufactured in 1983, the CZ 83 or  Vz 82 replaced the 7.62x25mm Tokarev Vz. 52 pistol in the Czechoslovakian military. The CZ 83  is a conventional blowback action pistol allowing the barrel to remain solidly fixed to the frame, resulting in improved accuracy over pistols with pivoting barrels. The low bore axis provides for less muzzle rise and quicker follow-up shots. These particular models are chambered in 9×18 mm (9 mm Makarov), these classic pistols are in very good to excellent condition and coveted among curio and COMBLOC weapons collectors. This pistol is sold as is, without a magazine.
